The Name Game During a weekend visit with my sister, I read to her granddaughter Adrienna from her children's Bible story book. After our story time, I quizzed Adrienna on what we read. "Who was the man with the big boat?" "Noah," she piped right up. Then -- I don't know why -- I asked, "What was his last name?" "Zark!" she replied with authority. |

REFLECTION Sometimes we become so familiar with the great stories and lessons of the Bible that we miss the truth they are supposed to provide us. The next time you are reading or listening to one of those old familiar stories, remind yourself to look for the meaning of God's message for your own life in each of the stories in God's great collection, the Holy Bible ... and then put the truth into practice in your daily life. |
